Very great establishment! Fine food, fair prices, and friendly staff!

Went there for a big family gathering, it was amazing

Spectacularly awful. Took my parents here from Los Gatos for a night out in Pleasanton. Pop was at Parks air base back in the 50s, and they’re now in their late 80s and still together. Maitre d’ stuck us in a corner table and promply forgot us. No water, no bread, no place settings, no menus. 20 minutes later, we got the menus. 20 minutes after that, still nothing, even as later-arriving tables with younger folk got full attention. For the first time in ages, we actually found ourselves forced to leave a restaurant for terrible service, and we got up and left. Out on the sidewalk, the maitre d’ actually came running out, asking if we had paid our bill. Told him I wouldn’t return even if he put a gun to my head. Instead, we walked down the street to Nonni’s. Much better treatment, and some nice old-fashioned respectfulness for my parents.

We had the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and the food and drinks were amazing! Service is friendly and very professional. I'd recommend this place for any dinner or family get together! You'll love it!

This where I go for my birthday meal. My favorite dish is a seafood linguine and white sauce

Very limited menus but what food they do offer is good, excellent staff as well.I gave it 4 star due to the limited menus options.

Our first visit. We can’t wait to return! We had the bolognese and the braised short rib ravioli. Artful seasoning and some of the best pasta in recent memory. Well done!

Some of the best italian food. Get their "dark chocolate creme brulee" omg! Their cheesecake is thick.

Great place to hang out at the little bar at the front. Friendly staff and lovely conversation with friends, old and new alike. Good food from the kitchen too. Pastas is a nice little gem in downtown Pleasanton.

Not a bad place in downtown Pleasanton. I had the pizza with prosciutto and arugula. It's a nice place to dine and enjoy good weather atmosphere.

Service was good and atmosphere pleasant… I should have got the hint w/ the name and ordered pasta! Be careful w/ the Filet Mignon… ordered medium rare, came medium, dry, no juice at all… felt like I was chewing on dry Cheerios! And since when in CA is a $20 glass of wine a splash in the bottom of the glass… too bad!

I LOVE the food here....NEVER had a bad meal. I try their special of the day just to get out of my comfort zone, and it's always GREAT!!!! Best Italian food on the West Coast!!!!

Authentic Italian food served in a great atmosphere by a freindly caring staff. Great wine list to choose from too!

Although it was not on the menu, they made us a truly great affogato.

Excellent, a little pricey.

The food was very good, I order bolognese papardele with ragu but, I think they have wrong concept about ragu, and was excesive sauce and a little bit papardeles, my husband order Chicken parmigiana, the staff was ok, but slow.

Food was great, a lot of great options on the menu. I would definitely go back to try more, service was great the waiters were really nice and understanding. Definitely worth your time.

Great food but i think it is expensive

Flavor of the food was below average. Don’t expect this from such a pricey place. Ordered bruschetta, pasta and pizza. Pizza was average other dishes were below average.

Very cozy and romantic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Pleasanton downtown. Friendly staff and quick service. I had the best pasta here. It gets crowded during weekends during spring and summer months.

Everything we ordered tasted amazing! Even the herbs in the olive oil vinegar are amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Drinks are good, food is ok, staff are friendly.

Our server was awesome. The service is really on it here. Food was pretty good too. I think Pastas has improved.

The service maybe totally changed, we waiting for 40 minutes, but the food was still fabulous.

Excellent food and grate service. It was a packed house and every staff member was very attentive. We had a great time catching up with friends.

The food was outstanding but the service was not. Our female waitress was not friendly and treated us as if we were not there. The other server was just about as bad but she at least smiled. We were there on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy.

Took a large group and they did a great job taking care of us. The food was flavorful and delicious.The only thing that could have made for a easier evening was asking for separate checks.That said it was a great evening.

Pricey (around $20 per person for lunch not including tax and tip) but not out of line for this area. Excellent food, very good wait staff. Excellent bread, excellent calamari appetizer, excellent crab salad. Everything you'd expect from a top quality restaurant. My friend had a grilled seafood mix that looked even better ( shrimp, clam, scallops), I'll have to try it next time.
